This is an abstract painting I created after painting over a work I wasn't happy with. The figures and outline of a face emerged on their own; I added only the hints of facial features for eyes, nose, and mouth. I named this "Undine" because the murky green suggests the undine water nymph or spirit, derived from the Greek mythological attendants of Poseidon the sea god, and later recorded in European literature and art.
